What We’re About

The Natural Standard Cleaning Co. was built from a desire to create a healthier, thorough, more intentional way to clean—one that doesn’t rely on harsh chemicals or shortcuts and is deeply rooted in purpose.

As a firefighter family-run business, we care just as deeply about the environments we’re in and the people we serve, as we do each other. What started as a personal standard in our own lives has grown into a service grounded in empowerment, inspiration, consistency, trust, and attention to detail.

We use non-toxic methods, supported by Norwex® microfiber systems, to create spaces that feel fresh, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s a business, home, or active job site, our goal is simple: to leave every space better and safer than we found it.

At the core of what we’re building is a larger purpose—creating opportunities and support for young people rebuilding their lives after difficult circumstances. This is something we’re continuing to grow alongside the business, with the intention of making a meaningful, long-term impact.

Intentionally Purposed

The Natural Standard Cleaning Co. was built with more than clean spaces in mind—it was built with intention.

As a survivor-owned business, we are shaped by lived experience and a desire to create something meaningful from it. We understand what it takes to rebuild, and that understanding is woven into everything we do.

Our mission extends beyond cleaning. We are committed to creating opportunities for individuals overcoming adversity—especially survivors of sexual trauma—to step into stability, independence, and renewed purpose. Through meaningful work, financial education, and access to resources, we aim to help restore confidence and create a strong foundation for what comes next.

This purpose is continuing to grow through our upcoming nonprofit, Lion Heart Refuge—an initiative focused on walking alongside survivors as they rebuild their lives and reconnect with themselves.

Everything we do is rooted in care, intention, and the belief that something steady and meaningful can be built from even the hardest beginnings.
